ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. It is usually first diagnosed in childhood and often lasts into adulthood. Children with ADHD may have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (may act without thinking about what the result will be), or be overly active.

ADHD effects more than 6 million school age children making it harder for kids to develop the skills that control attention, behavior, emotions, and activity.

ADHD in preschool age children is difficult to diagnose with limited treatment options.

Early identification and treatment is extremely important to help a child have greater success in school, social situations, and life. (source: CDC)
