Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes—and it means that your body doesn’t use insulin properly. And while some people can control their blood sugar levels with healthy eating and exercise, others may need medication or insulin to help manage it.  This phase 3 study compares a once daily investigational medicine to insulin glargine injections in adults 18 years and older, living with Type 2 Diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

There is no cost to participate.  Volunteers receive free medicine and follow-up care.  No insurance needed.  Time and travel compensation up to $6328 may be available.  This is a multi-year study.
