Clinical Trial for Diabetes in Adults with CV Risk Factors

Study Location(s): Owensboro and Bowling Green Kentucky

Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes—and it means that your body doesn’t use insulin properly. And while some people can control their blood sugar levels with healthy eating and exercise, others may need medication or insulin to help manage it.  This phase 3 study compares a dual action investigational medicine to a single action glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist (RA) in adults 40 years and older, living with Type 2 Diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors.  Click here for more information on living with Diabetes.

There is no cost to participate.  Volunteers receive free investigational medicine and follow-up care.  No insurance needed.  Time and travel reimburrsement up to $600 per year may be available.  This is a multi-year study.
