A phase III study to assess the effect of an investigational medicine on LDL-C patients with clinical ASCVD (atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease) or at risk for a first ASCVD event

LDL-C, or low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, is a type of lipoprotein in your blood. Lipoproteins are particles made of lipids (fats) and proteins that carry fats through your bloodstream. You may hear people call LDL “the bad cholesterol.”  That’s because too much LDL -C can put you at a higher risk of a stroke or heart attack. This is because excess LDL-C contributes to plaque buildup (atherosclerosis) in your arteries when your (source: Cleveland Clinic). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of an investigational medicine in patients with elevated LDL-C and clinical ASCVD or at risk for a first ASCVD event.

There is no cost to participate. Volunteers receive no cost investigational medicine and no cost health exams. No insurance needed. Time and travel compensation is TBD.
