Clinical Trial for an Infant Formula Study

Study Location(s): Owensboro and Bowling Green Kentucky; Evansville Indiana
Inclusion Criteria: Healthy Full Term Babies (37weeks) ≤ 14 days of age

Infant formula is a manufactured food designed and marketed for feeding to babies and infants under 12 months of age. The U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) defines infant formula as “a food which purports to be or is represented for special dietary use solely as a food for infants by reason of its simulation of human milk or its suitability as a complete or partial substitute for human milk”. This is an active comparitor infant forumla study in babies between a modified formulation and a currently marketed forulation and/or breast milk fed infants.  Click here for FDA Infant Formula Q&As.

There is no cost to participate.  Volunteers receive free investigational formula and follow-up care.  No insurance needed.  Time and travel reimburrsement up to $200 may be available.  Formula and diapers provided at no cost.
