THIS STUDY FOR OBESITY IN ADULTS WITH CV & KIDNEY RISKS

This study is to evaluate the efficacy of a once weekly investigational medicine on cardiovascular outcomes and the decline in kidney function in adults living with obesity.

The rising worldwide prevalence of obesity is becoming one of the main global public health challenges. Over 200 health-related conditions have been associated with increased body fat mass.  Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease are of greatest concern due to their high prevalence, potential to result in serious outcomes, and adverse impact on quality of life. Obesity markedly increases the risk of Cardiovascular and Chronic Kidney Disease by increasing the prevalence of the key risk factors, including Type 2 Diabetes. This is a phase 3 study evaluating the effect of an investigational medicine cardiovascular outcomes and renal function in adults living with obesity.

There is no cost to participate.  Volunteers receive no cost investigational medicine and no cost health exams.  No insurance needed.  Time and travel compensation up to $3600 may be available.
