Kids with uncontrolled asthma are at a high risk for exacerbations, hospitalizations, and reduced quality of life. Qualmedica Research is enrolling a study for children and adolescents (ages 5 – 17 years) diagnosed with asthma. In addition to providing informed consent/assent, key inclusion criteria are:
- a history of asthma symptoms for at least 6 months,
- currently receiving asthma therapy for at least 4 weeks, and
- able to replace current asthma therapy with study drug.
Study participants receive compensation for time and travel, study drug at no cost, and routine follow-up care throughout the study. Health insurance is not needed to participate in this study.

My partner nearly died of asthma when he was younger. I am a supporter of research to try to prevent this in future.
